Networking Event With Legal Alumnae

The highlight of the Networking Event for many students was the interactive session with our alumnae in the legal field. They walked students through everything from the JAMB subject combination for Law to the admission hurdles commonly faced by prospective candidates. Many students were surprised to learn how discipline, reading culture, and strong language skills play a major role in succeeding in the field. The Networking Event also allowed students to ask direct and honest questions about internships, ethics, and the career growth path of lawyers in Nigeria.

Networking Event Focused on Medicine

The Networking Event became even more enlightening when our doctors and medical students took the stage. They explained the realities of pursuing Medicine—from competitive JAMB scores to the level of commitment required during MBBS training. Students also asked questions about specialization, job prospects, and the psychological resilience needed to survive medical school. This Networking Event helped break myths about the profession and encouraged students to focus on genuine passion rather than societal pressure.

Networking Event Engagement With Nurses

Nursing professionals also played an inspiring role at the Networking Event. They discussed the global demand for qualified nurses, the diverse branches of nursing, and why empathy is just as important as academic performance. Students learned how nursing offers opportunities both locally and internationally. Through this Networking Event, many students realized how broad and impactful nursing truly is, beyond the typical stereotypes.

Networking Event Career Path Guidance

One of the strongest outcomes of the Networking Event was the clarity it provided regarding JAMB combinations and university admission processes. Alumnae broke down the details of subject selection, cut-off scores, post-UTME performance, and the importance of early preparation. Students left the Networking Event with practical, step-by-step guidance that will significantly shape their academic planning going forward.

Networking Event Student Q&A Session

The open-floor question segment transformed the Networking Event into a lively and engaging mentorship environment. Students confidently asked about school-life balance, career challenges, salary expectations, and how to select the right university. Alumnae responded with sincerity, sharing their personal journeys—failures, successes, and lessons. The Networking Event created a safe space for students to explore their fears and dreams without judgment.

Networking Event Encouraging Professional Confidence

Many SS2 and SS3 students expressed concerns about competition, limited opportunities, and uncertainties about the future. Through the Networking Event, alumnae reassured them that success is built on consistency, resilience, and informed decision-making. They encouraged students to build strong study habits, maintain confidence in their abilities, and select careers aligned with their strengths. The Networking Event also emphasized character development and leadership, which are crucial for long-term growth.

Networking Event Strengthening Alumni–Student Bonds

Above all, the Networking Event strengthened the relationship between NTIC Alumnae and current students. It reminded everyone that NTIC is not just a school but a lifelong community of support, mentorship, and growth. Alumnae expressed their happiness at giving back, while students showed eagerness to learn and follow in their footsteps. The Networking Event ended with gratitude, group photos, and renewed motivation among the students.
